Key responsibilities include working withcustomers to understand technical needs, collaborating withinterdisciplinary teams of engineers, leading design and manufacturingpartners, troubleshooting systemic hardware issues, implementingcorrective actions, and monitoring fleet performance post-launch. Theposition demands cross-functional leadership to deliver servers thatmeet AWS's high standards for quality and performance. Must have the following experience:Seven years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.Seven years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures and experience working with interdisciplinary teams throughout the productlifecycle.Seven years of experience with server, networking, or large-scale distributed system and corresponding technologies including thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.Seven years of experience in hardware development focused on system/server architecture and leading technical projectsThe pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $209997 - $215300 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
