Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners andcustomers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits,understanding customer requirements, creating packaged Data& Analytics service offerings.5. Engage in short on-site projects proving the use of AWS servicesto support new distributed computing solutions that often spanprivate cloud and public cloud services. Engagements includemigration of existing applications and development of newapplications using AWS cloud services.6. Work with AWS engineering and support teams to conveypartner and customer needs and feedback as input to technologyroadmaps.7. Share real world implementations and recommend newcapabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater valuefrom use of AWS cloud services.8. Experience must include: 1. 3 years of experience in Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation. 2. 3 years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning Hadoop/Spark implementations. 3. 3 years of experience with one or more of the following tools: Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr, or Avro. 4. 3 years of experience with one or more SQL-on-Hadoop technology: Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, or Presto. 5. 3 years of experience developing software code in programming languages including Java or Python.The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $153600 - $207800 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
