Kota is reimagining insurance and retirement benefits for the modern workforce. Through our two flagship products, Kota Platform, the first fully integrated benefits platform, and Kota Embed, our embedded insurance solution. We're making benefits more accessible, valued, and global.
We power benefits for tens of thousands of employees at Europe's most forward-thinking companies, including Carwow, Tines, Zoe, and Remote. Founded in 2022, we've raised more than €20M from investors such as EQT Ventures, Eurazeo, Northzone, and Frontline, as well as founders and executives from Workday, Remote, Personio, and OpenAI.
We work in a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days per week required in our office in London.
What You'll Do
Prospect, qualify and close new opportunities, expanding our footprint in the UK & Ireland market across large mid-market sized companies
Work closely with a BDR to open up larger accounts, while generating your own opportunities
Build a genuine understanding of Kota's products so you can speak to value confidently and adapt your talk tracks depending on the prospect
Navigate complex RFP process across large organisations
Negotiate deals with clients that satisfy both the customer and company needs
Accurately forecast your deals, your quarters and your annual plan, we need to be able to reliably account for your ability to hit your target
Consistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets in a fast-moving, still-forming sales environment
Help shape our sales approach and positioning as we figure out what works best in this market
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
4+ years experience carrying and hitting a quota as an individual contributor, whether that's SaaS, benefits, insurance, pensions or another consultative B2B sales environment
Outbound experience is essential, we need someone who can generate their own opportunities, not just work inbound
Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets as an individual contributor
Comfortable in a fast-paced, still-being-built environment where process isn't always fully formed yet
Self-motivated, resilient and able to work independently without needing everything mapped out for you
Strong prioritisation, you'll be juggling multiple deals and processes at once
How you treat people matters to us. People should want to work with you, help you and be helped by you in return
Experience in financial services, fintech or B2B is useful context but not a hard requirement
What matters most is that you can point to real evidence of doing the above, wherever you've done it
