About Zelara
Most CRM marketing still blasts generic messages at scale and calls it "personalization." Our founders experienced this firsthand in senior roles at HelloFresh, Salesforce, Uber, and others. Backed by top-tier VCs, they decided to build a better way.
Zelara is an agentic lifecycle marketing platform that improves with every interaction. It works with the CRM infrastructure our customers already use, replacing static journeys and manual segmentation with a system that creates content, makes individual-level decisions, and learns from every outcome.
With bunq, Europe's second-largest neobank, we delivered +7.4% activation and +66% reactivation uplift, measured against a control group. We raised a €3M pre-seed and are generating revenue with paying enterprise customers. We are looking for a senior freelance marketer to help drive demand generation.
The Role
You work with our growth lead, the founders and sales team. Your focus is demand generation, and we measure it in pipeline: demos, opportunities created and generated pipeline value.
You work hands-on. You write, produce and publish yourself, run every initiative as an experiment, and tell us which ones to double down on stop.
Our buyers are CRM, lifecycle and marketing leaders at mid-market and enterprise B2C companies across Europe. Annual contracts run €75–250k. You are marketing to marketers, so our quality bar is high and our content needs to be excellent..
Sales owns the deal. You help to shape how a buyer first hears of us and why they take the meeting.
What You Will Do
Grow marketing-sourced pipeline across the necessary growth channels
Build the Zelara’s content engine: LinkedIn presence, blog, lead magnets, and more
Build reach in our niche through the newsletters, podcasts and communities our buyers already follow
Turn customer results into stories that sell
Work on AI systems across research, writing and creatives
Who You Are
You have a strong track record in B2B demand generation and can name the pipeline and revenue you created.
You have built a successful program from zero that became a reliable, measurable source of deals, such as a channel, a campaign format or a community.
You are an experienced marketer to marketers, ideally from a fast-growing SaaS or martech company, and know what makes them stop and read.
You are an exceptional creator: a sharp, clear writer, confident on video, newsletters or podcasts that people actually follow.
You are a strong storyteller who turns a founder's thinking into authentic content that sounds like them and gets them invited to speak.
You are genuinely AI-native: AI is part of how you research, write and produce, every day.
You are fluent in English. German is a strong bonus.
Bonus
You have worked at a martech or CRM vendor, or marketed to marketers.
You have built an audience of your own.
You have run events or podcasts that produced pipeline.
