Lakshadweep Cooperative Societies Regulation, 2022 (No.4 of 2022) and Lakshadweep Cooperative Societies Rules, 2023have been promulgated/ enacted by repealing the “Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation, 1960 and Rules 1961”. The new Regulation and Rules have been promulgated to streamline and facilitate the cooperative societies in the Lakshadweep.
