Consent to operate (under Water Act & Air Act)
1)This approval is required by an entrepreneur, running any industry and discharging effluent into any water resource or air and thereby polluting the environment, to obtain this consent to operate the unit. 2) It is to be obtained once the industry is established along the required pollution control systems. This consent is given for a particular period, which needs to be renewed regularly.
