The subject of monitoring and regulation of catering services in Mizoram has been allocated to the Department of Tourism as per Government of Mizoram (Allocation of Business) Rules 2019. Operational Guidelines for Registration of Catering Units have been notified by the Government for registration of catering business and to ensure food safety, enhance customer satisfaction and facilitate business expansion. All F&B catering business operating in Mizoram are required to register under the Mizoram Registration of Tourist Trade Act 2020
